Our Story

Born from two
continents,
one kitchen.

JARA is a family venture — three siblings, one shared love of food that crosses the Atlantic. Our plates carry the bold spices of West Africa and the warmth of the Caribbean, served from the heart of South-East London.

The name JARA is a Yoruba word meaning "extra" — that little bit more you get when someone truly cares. Everything cooked from scratch, seasoned from memory, served with the generosity only family brings.
